What is a "Couples Massage"?

 

In a couples massage, two people are massaged in the same room, at the same time, by two different therapists.   It can be a husband and wife, girlfriend and boyfriend, best friends (women only), or even moms and daughters.   We do not accept two men as a couple--sorry.

What are the benefits of "Couples Massage"?

 

Couples massage is a great way to introduce a partner who has never gotten a massage before, in a way that makes them feel more comfortable.  Believe it or not, some men are apprehensive about getting a massage because of the nudity involved, and to have their wife or girlfriend there can be quite reassuring.

Men usually discover that therapeutic touch is very relaxing and restorative.  They discover it is beneficial mentally and spiritually, as well as physically, to be totally relaxed and pampered in the presence of their wife or girlfriend without the everyday pressures life presents.  Once men experience a couples massage, they frequently take the initiative in arranging future couples massages on their own.  In fact, many of our couples schedule appointments twice monthly and some schedule appointments even more frequently!

Couples massage can also be a good choice if you're traveling with someone you don't get to see often enough--a sister, girlfriend, mom, or best friend--and you want to spend as much time together as possible.  This is especially true for military personnel lucky enough to have close relatives visit Okinawa.
